Hi there everyone. Hope this finds you all happy and well.
Thought it was about time I posted some samples of some creating I've been doing with our gorgeous new mini catalogue. I just love everything in this one!
Here's a couple of ideas for now, but our blog hop this month is based on the Autumn-Winter mini so if you come by on Saturday 28th April you'll get some fantastic ideas.
This one is a swap I did for part of our group using the lovely Apothecary Art (page 19 $63.95 W or $50.95 C) stamp set. I've used the new pleated satin ribbon (page 12 $13.95) in Baja Breeze and our great new Framelits Dies (page 9 $49.95) in the Labels Collection. A bit of colour and bling and voila! You have a gorgeous card.
The next ones are obviously the same card, only in different colours. This one is in Peach Parfait using the Tea Shoppe (page 15 $61.96 W and $49.95 C). Embossing, bling and ribbon and you have another fine card.
This one is exactly the same, but in Perfect Plum. See how the different colours make the card look totally different.

This is my second attempt at the challenge set. I decided to make a plainer centre for my card using just Crumb Cake and Pink Pirouette sponging instead of watercolouring with my embossing and spritzing.

This week the challenge set by JAI is to make is called JUST ADD EASTER.
If you go to http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com.au/ you will be able to see all the fantastic projects both the Designer Team and other wonderfully talented people have made.
Here is my entry.
I've used Concord Crush, Lucky Lemonade, Whisper White and Blushing Bride cardstock. Underneath the main Hoppy Easter is the Every Egg roller stamp that I have coloured (which you can't see much of) and I've added tiny pearls and the scallop border punch. A bit of Crystal Effects, some gorgeous pink silk ribbon I had stashed away, an Antique Brad and glitter finish the project. Oh, and I used our brand new Simply Scored Scoring Tool to made the lovely diamond effect on the cardstock. Just so easy to do with this item.

I chose to use the crayon resist technique for my background using Fabulous Florets and mainly Wisteria Wonder and Blushing Bride ink and cardstock and added some glamour and glitter with different sparkles. Hope you like it.

This time I have decided to make a Male and Female card to match the sketch.
For the Male, I used my favourite stamp The Open Sea which is about to retire with the Summer mini. Boo Hoo!! LOVE this set. Also Happy Birthday comes from the For My Family set. I have used Early Expresso, Not Quite Navy and River Rock cardstock and inks and Well Worn DSP. Lots of Tags die set, Stripes embossing folder, 3/8" Taffeta and and 1/8" Taffeta ribbons and Metallic brads, Crystal Effects and spritzing complete the card.
For the ladies card, I used Basic Black, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake cardstock and ink and the elegant Mocha Morning Specialty DSP. Stamp set is another summer catalogue retiring set Fabulous Florets with the Happy Birthday again from the For My Family set. 1/2" Seam Binding and 1/8" Taffeta ribbons, Antique Brad, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Top Note Big Shot die and Word Window punch complete this card.
